These retreats are aimed to help you, your friends, staff, colleagues or clients to pause and unwind from your busy schedules.

Programmes within the retreats are tailored to suit your needs. Here are some of the sessions we offer:
Mindfulness practices:
Body scan-
A body scan is one of the most effective ways to begin a mindfulness meditation practice. The purpose is to tune in to your body, to reconnect to your physical self. Notice any sensations you're feeling without judgement. This can be done seated or lying down.
Gratitude practice-
By practicing gratitude, we can handle stress better. By acknowledging and appreciating the little things in life, we can rewire the brain to deal with the present circumstances with more awareness and flexibility.
Compassion meditation-
Guided meditation that allows us to cultivate the ability to respond to events, and to react to them, with an attitude of open curiosity and compassion.
Other various mindfulness based cognitive therapy practices can also be included to suit your needs.
Yoga:
Moving through yoga sequences designed to incorporate stretching and strengthening the body as well finding a connection between our physical and mental well-being. Suits all abilities.
Breathing exercises:
A range of breathing exercises to tune in with our body and beyond. Learn how to breathe properly and perhaps even leave with a profound experience.

Location
Retreats take place indoors at the Stables at Penpont (or outdoor when the sun shines), a historic estate built in 1666 and nestled in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Bring a yoga mat (or rent one from us) and a swimsuit/towel if you'd like to go for a cold dip in the river! (Showers on-site)
Penpont is most easily accessed by car but if you are traveling from London or any other major city, take the train to Abergavenny and a 40-minute car ride.
